Privacy Policy

Cyclops SRE is a self-hosted monitoring client. It is designed so that we cannot see your data, because it never reaches us.

What the app collects

Nothing. Cyclops contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting service and no third-party network calls. The app communicates exclusively with the Cyclops hub server that you configure — typically running inside your own infrastructure.

What is stored on your device

• API token — stored in the iOS Keychain, used to authenticate to your hub.
• Preferences — your server address, notification choices, favourites and locally muted clusters, stored on the device only.

What is sent to your hub

• API requests needed to display and manage your clusters (authenticated with your token).
• Your device's push-notification token, so your own hub can send you alerts through Apple's push service. Alert content originates from your hub, not from us.

What we (the developer) receive

Nothing from the app itself. If you install via TestFlight or the App Store, Apple provides us aggregate, anonymised statistics (installs, crashes) under Apple's privacy terms.

Data retention & deletion

Delete the app and every locally stored item above is removed. Your hub administrator can additionally revoke the device's API token and push registration at any time from the Cyclops web UI.
